"Forest & Carbon Sinks"

Website:

http://www.globalissues.org/article/180/carbon-sinks-forests-and-climate-change

Summary:

All of the forests and oceans in the world are regulators of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere; and this is called the greenhouse gas. The regulators are various controls or devices for regulating or controlling fluid flow, pressure, temperature, etc. The forests sink, so this absorbs the carbon dioxide. This causes the forests to soak up, and to increase more pollution. This means that the trees will be cut down. When these trees get cut down it will be deforestation. When they had a forest fire in March, 1998, added Carbon Dioxide to the atmosphere before the burning season. The fire’s caused illnesses, such as breathing related illnesses and also cause pollution. In the region of East Kallilmantan the large timber got a ecological disaster, that leads to starvation and deaths, this is environmental issues. The species that live in the forest rely on the forest for homes. For the climates change there was an idea to use Caron Sinks to soak up carbon dioxide. To reforestation or planting new trees in the forest have been suggested also. Carbon Sinks is big for the Kytoto Protocol, so if the carbon sinks this can go towards emission reductions credit. When the Carbon Sinks the forests burn or vegetation naturally dies, and release carbon too.

Opinion:

My opinion on this is that when the forests fires happens people shouldn’t go around the fires because it wouldn’t cause any breathing related illnesses. The species in that area of the forests should be tried to get captured and brought to another area, because these animals can die due to the forests fires all the time.
